In Argentina   

The Bicentennial Scholarship Program for Scientific and Technical Careers

Grants scholarships to low-income students approved and enrolled in Argentina's higher education system in professions related to applied sciences, natural sciences, natural sciences and basic sciences.

Award Amounts:$8,640 to $20,736 USD per yearl

UADE scholarships for young athletes - Argentina

Aimed at basketball enthusiasts who excel in the performance of the sport and want to start college, UADE launches offering scholarships to begin to pursue a career in 2015.

Award Amount: All fees for tuition and registration, along with a monthly allowance to cover education expenses and per diem.

The program seeks to promote the development and practice of college basketball and more generally of sport in Argentina and the region, rewarding ability and effort of those young ballers showing optimal performance.

Roberto Carri Scholarships for Latin Americans

Organized to encourage Latin American university graduates to pursue master's degrees and specialize in areas of Social and Human Sciences.

Number of Awards: 15 per year, renewable for following year. Plus a monthly stipend for living expenses and medical insurance for 10 months a year.

BRAZIL   

OAS Scholarships

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB)

Number of Scholarships:  more than 500

Award Amounts: full tuition, partial monthly stipend $1,500 BRL for Master's and $2,200 BRL for Doctorate, first 125 approved candidates also recieve $1,200 USD upon arrival at school

Locations:  46 locations in 5 regions of Brazil

Duration:  2 years for master's applicants, and 4 years for doctoral programs

Eligibility:  Must be from Brazil and studying in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and France at a Schiller International University campus. Applicants must have a good academic record and demonstrate financial need

Brazilian Scholars Award at Schiller International University

Dr. Walter Leibrecht founded Schiller International University in 1964 which is committed towards the advancement and support of understanding different cultures.  In excess of 20,000 students from over 100 countries have been taught through its campuses in the Largo, FL, United States, Paris, France,  Heidelberg, Germany, and Madrid, Spain.

Number of Scholarships:  20

Award Amounts: 25% of tuition

Deadlines:  None

Eligibility:  Must be from Brazil and studying in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and France at a Schiller International University campus. Applicants must have a good academic record and demonstrate financial need

Brazilian Scholarship Newcastle University

Offers grants to Brazilian students planning to embark on postgraduate study from instructors at the university.

Award Amounts: £7,500

Deadlines:  June 30

In Chile   

CHILEAN Government funded Scholarship for International Students

Offers grants to foreign citizens planning to study in Chile on either the Postgraduate and the Certifying Diploma scholarships.

Eligibility:  Must be a foreign born citizenl and have a good academic record.

OTHER Options: You may also try the World Citizen Talent Scholarship which you can use in almost any country for studies.

Horizontal Cooperation Scholarship Program

Offers grants to Latin American professionals working in ministries or public institutions, academics, teachers and researchers from neighboring countries to complete their masters studies in Chilean Universities and Institutions of Higher Education, in various fields, such as Agricultural Regional Planning Sciences, Urbanism and Economics and Management, Education and Improvement of Teachers, Technology, Engineering, Geology and Geography, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Medical Sciences.

Award Amounts: covers tuition, books, living allowance, health insurance, study materials, and round-trip airfare.

In Mexico   

OAS Scholarships

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Mexican National Science and Technology Council (CONACYT) and the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) for master's or doctoral studies in science and engineering

Number of Scholarships:  6 each year

Award Amounts: covers living expenses, medical insurance, a one-time grant of $1,200 USD to be disbursed when the student arrives

Eligibility:  must have completed a bachelor's degree and be citizens and/or permanent residents of one of the Member States of the GS/OAS outside of Mexico along with an excellent academic record.

In Colombia   

COLFUTURO

A non-profit foundation established in 1991 in in effort to increase the possibilities of Colombian citizens to access exceptional postgraduate study programs abroad.

Postgraduate Scholarships for Foreigners in Colombia - ICETEX

The ICETEX provides scholarships to foreign citizens for studies in Masters and Research Graduate level

Eligibility:  must be a foreign born citizen under age 35 and have obtained a bachelor's degree.
