DAAD provides an assortment of study and research opportunities to second and third-year undergraduate students, graduates, PhDs, PostDocs, scholars, faculty and higher education institutions from the United States, Canada and their territories, in Germany.

Students seeking master's degrees are eligible from developing countries in Asia, Africa, Pacific Islands, Central and South America, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Society of Teachers of French and Francophone America:

SPFFA encourages all French teachers or teachers considering research or activities that involve utilizing the French language. The SPFFA has a few scholarships for research which are awarded every year to students who would like to proceed with their work in France or Quebec, Canada.

The  Jean et Marie-Louis Dufrenoy scholarship is targeted towards studying scientific disciplines; the Jeanne Marandon Scholarships are open to various types of students and researchers specializing in literature, communication, humanities, music, or art. Scholarships in Quebec allow students to attend a session of summer school within a Quebec university.

It is designed for composers, writers, and visual artists (painters, sculptors, photographers, playwrights, choreographers, filmmakers, video artists, and new media artists) involved in creative projects.
