Prague Old Town

The beating heart of Prague is Old Town which features many houses, churches and other structures dating as far back as the 13th century. Building considered significant are the Old Town Hall, Astronomical Clock(Staromestska Radnice), the Carolinum, the Municipal House and the Estates Theater.

Ossuary in Sedlec - (The Church of Bones)

Recognized throughout the world, the ossuary at Sedlec is a Gothic chapel built in the middle ages has been sitting on the remains of 40,000 souls for hundreds of years. It is quite astounding to those who visit near and far due to its morbid decor by Frantisek Rint, comprised of human bones ranging from chandeliers, a pyramid, monstrances, crosses and coats of arms. It is part of the prestigious UNESCO world heritage list.

Castles in Hradcany

Perched on a holl overlooking the River Vltava is an incredible complex of castles within the Hradcany castle district. Visitors get to see the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Renaissance Archbishop's Palace, the Romanesque Basilica of St. George, defense towers, a monastery and other structures as they are within the complex. Bars and restaurants are conveniently nearby and the grounds of the castle are a peaceful setting for resting.

Karlovy Vary

A place where you'll find luxurious spas , prominent colonnades, excellent architecture and a great environment in the heart of a forested valley. Many important figures come her for spa treatments and peaceful relaxation.

Unique to the Czech people is this a bubbly, moderately fermented wine that comes from Moravian or Czech grapes. The drink is in season after August 15th. You can get a taste of it at the many wine festivals until November.

Located on the Moravia river in the eastern part of the Czech Republic, it's the former capital of Moravia and a true metropolis featuring a historical university, spiritual and cultural traditions with twelve churches in downtown area alone.

Český Krumlov

Český Krumlov is located in the southwestern part of the Czech Republic and one of its best kept quality sites from the middle ages. UNESCO assigned its Od Town area with its Renaissance architecture as a World Heritage Site. It's an interesting city with a mesh of winding alleyways constructed close to the massive Český Krumlov castle.
Other attractions are Egon Schiele Gallery, FIDELIO classical music concerts, the Five-Petalled Rose Celebrations, the International Music Festival, Baroque art festival.

Built in the latter half of the 19th century, 165km form Prague, is a Neo-Classical and Art-Noveau modern spa town with incredible parks that make it among the list of most beautiful garden cities in Europe. It has a large array of natural therapeutic resources and ideal weather.

Castle Karlstein

The castle was built in 1348 was a safe for royal treasures. Getting to Karlstein Castle from Prague is fairly easy using the convenient rail system. Take a tour of the castle and learn where the crown jewels of Bohemia were kept. At the base of the castle is where you'll notice the town, which one must walk through to get to the medieval fortress. Shopping for souvenirs is recommended as they tend to be cheaper than in the city.

This World Heritage-protected site of Telc in South Moravia features Baroque-style houses on its lovely main square which is more than inviting for visitors. Observe the Telc Chateau (Statni zamek Telc) and its luxurious interiors, that were decorated with cost not being an issue.
